We have an opportunity for an experienced System Support / Developer Analyst to join an expanding team in Cardiff City Centre

Duties and Responsibilities include;
- Development and maintenance of complex technical systems
- Support a centre of expertise within the organisation
- Agree appropriate design standards, methods and tools in consultation with senior management
- Assess software packages on their ability to meet all or parts of specified requirements
- Review and revise cost benefit analyses, risk analyses and development plans to take account of design decisions.
- Liaise with suppliers and contribute to the assessment and selection of suitable software packages
- Suggest design enhancements, capacity changes, contingency and recovery arrangements
- Receive and log requests for support from the service desk
- Consult with and advise Project Managers to help them plan
- Monitor the market to gain knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technologies
Skills and Experience Required - Essential Criteria:
- Degree or equivalent experience / professional qualifications
- Experience of developing a data warehouse using recognised architecture (Kimball, Inmon or Hybrid)
- Experience of developing a data warehouse using Microsoft SQL Server (2008 or later) using ISSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDX, OLAP
- Experience of the full project lifecycle
Skills and Experience Required - Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working within a project management methodology such as PRINCE2
- Experience of setup, maintenance and ongoing support for SharePoint 2013.
- Understanding of ITIL service management or similar
