Due to continued expansion, an incredible opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and results driven sales professional, to join the vibrant sales office of a market leader providing innovative e-learning training solutions to businesses across the world.

As a Business Development Executive you will be part of a successful solutions based sales office where research and customer relationships are encouraged to get the best from every prospect. Safety Media's products include a full range of Health and Safety training solutions, including DVDs, posters and booklets, and e-Learning training solutions which are designed to save clients both time and money. You will focus your time on arranging appointments for the field based Business Development Managers.
Intensive structured training and ongoing support will be provided, and your responsibilities and duties will include although not limited to;
- Initially following up on provided sales leads and eventually researching and identifying own leads pipeline, making outbound calls to prospective clients to establish decision makers and business requirements
- Arranging qualified appointments for the field based Business Development Managers
- Following up on website enquires and referral leads
- Proactively building relationships and gaining referral business
- Maintaining accurate database records
To be considered for the role of Business Development Executive, you will have the following knowledge, skills, expertise and attributes;
- Proven proactive sales experience (not necessarily phone based)
- Self-motivation with the desire to achieve results, whilst working to targets
- Strong, friendly and engaging personality
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Team orientated with a positive, "can do" approach
- IT literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and use of CRM databases.

Salary: £15,000 basic per annum, plus generous monthly commission
Duration: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
