Senior Sales Co-ordinator
Location: Whitley (Coventry)
Salary: up to £21,000 per annum

Overview
The company is the market-leading Sales Support Agency working within the automotive industry.

The company is proud of its long-term partnerships with some of the world's most recognisable brands including (but not limited to) Honda, Nissan, PSA Group, BMW, Volvo, VWG and Jaguar Land Rover.

The business has grown dramatically since our inception in 2003, now supporting over 200 staff across 5 locations including a recently opened office in Gothenburg, Sweden. 2015 has been an important year for us. In addition to opening a European office, the business has acquired a major contract with the Jaguar Land Rover business in the Coventry area. We have offices within both the Gaydon and Whitley sites and the total operation supports over 20 people.

Our team in Whitley and Gaydon is responsible for providing the Fleet and Business Support to Jaguar Land Rover. This involves account management, processing support terms, administrative support and processing dealer payments.

Our Fleet and Business team plays an important role in supporting the teams within the JLR organisation responsible for selling vehicles to business customers.

The Senior Sales Co-ordinator is a challenging role providing a vital service to JLR and encompasses:

* Chasing retailers (there are c. 150 within the network) for outstanding contracts
* Ensuring accuracy and data integrity within customer contracts
* Daily contact with retailers to correct any errors within contracts issued to customers
* Coaching and helping retailers to accurately process registrations and contracts
* Verification of all Fleet and Business registrations to enable the payments to run
* Daily and weekly reporting on registrations, both targeted fleet and retailer business programme
* This is a senior role reporting to the Database Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the performance of 3 other people.

Key responsibilities within the position:

* Team rota planning
* Monthly team 1:1s
* Coaching, development and performance management of team members
* Managing absence
* Inspiring the team and leading by example to champion 'Customer First' behaviours at all times.

Although directly relevant experience is advantageous but not essential, it is vital that the successful candidate can demonstrate:

* The confidence to coach retailers, deal with issues and remain calm under pressure
* Advanced excel skills- using Excel to produce pivot tables, formulae and clear analysis is a major part of this role
* Ability to manipulate and interrogate data to create reports
* You should have the experience and confidence to capture key requirements from clients, understanding the root cause of requests in order to generate reports that provide clear and relevant information at all times.
* Your knowledge of MS Office and Googlemail should be excellent.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

* Professional attitude and outlook to work
* A strong sense of accountability and responsibility to the client's experience
* Excellent problem solving ability, an enquiring mind and the confidence to use your initiative and suggest improvements
* Demonstrable engagement with the role and client- in time you should be able to anticipate requests and make suggestions for useful data-led reports
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors / inconsistencies within both written and numerical information
* Good experience of using databases (e.g. Seibel, SAP, Sage CRM)

Whilst not initially essential, it will help you application to have an awareness of the JLR brand and what makes it special.
