Inside Sales Engineer

My client are part of a global engineering organisation that designs, manufactures and markets a diverse range of innovative products and solutions to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy & Process Industries.

Due to growth within the company they are now looking to recruit an Inside Sales Engineer to join their operation based in Wiltshire. The inside Sales Engineer provides pre-sales technical and quotation support to our clients sales team on the company's products which are process analysers and systems.

The role will report directly into the Sales & Marketing Director, and will be a key role within this growing organisation supporting all the external sales staff within the company.

The main duties will be:

• Handling Customer telephone queries and calls.
• Generating sales quotations and answering technical queries.
• Liaising with Distribution network, direct sales force and linking internal departments.
• Ensuring customer deadlines are adhered to for tenders / RFQ's.
• Ensuring all product literature is sent out to clients as requested.
• Updating the CRM database as and when required.

Experience/Skills Required

• Previous experience in a similar role, within an engineering environment
• Self-motivated, flexible, the ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills / telephone manner
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good presentation skills
• Educated to HNC /HND level (Ideally)
