Laboratory based and working as part of the Hair Care Technical team at Manchester, the successful candidate will be responsible for finished product formulation and testing for the Global Hair Care Division. This diverse role will include responsibility for:
- Testing and formulation of both current products and development products.
- Developing products to meet performance required by marketing briefs.
- Investigation and testing of new raw materials and formulations on the market.
- Presenting interpretation of documentation and technical data to senior management.
- Assisting in the maintenance and running of analytical laboratory equipment, assisting with analytical method development when appropriate.
- Developing sound formulation and testing standards and procedures.
- Supporting the Lonza commercial teams as required.
With a Degree in Chemistry or Cosmetic Science, candidates must have a proven laboratory formulation and testing background, with sound skills in operating laboratory equipment, ideally with experience of formulating hair care products.
Innovative and flexible, with an interest in new products your attention to detail will be combined with sound project management experience, high levels of accuracy, a strong IT affinity and excellent communication skills.
