A revolution in eye care! This company provide eye care for people who are unable to attend a high street optician. Mainly servicing local PCT’s and Care Homes you will be taking inbound calls from care homes or family members/patients to arrange eye care and tests in their home (or care home). Duties for the Customer Service Coordinator will be based around telephone work and booking appointments and managing diaries. Strong administration is paramount, with good telephone manner.

Responsibilities will include:.

Liaise with Care Home Managers and care staff to book and confirm any appointments for sight tests, adjustments or repairs for patients.
Work closely with Local PCTs to notify them of visits to care homes or patients in their own homes.
Plan clinics for the Optometrists taking into account travelling distances and number of patients requesting tests.
Prepare clinic paperwork for the Optometrists, Dispensers, record cards and care home information.
Carry out customer service calls to make sure Care Home Managers are satisfied with the our service, ensuring any additional requests are dealt with.
Receive incoming calls from care homes/family member or patients, taking ownership of the requests.
Liaise with and support the clinical teams throughout the day.
Send all correspondence to care homes for appointments, including posters, questionnaires, confirmation letters and patient names.
Prepare deliveries for dispensers to minimise administration when fitting spectacles within the care home or patients own home.
Maintain and keep the filing system up to date.

The ideal candidate must be customer focused, caring, professional and empathetic. Ideally candidates will have some customer service experience having worked with inbound calls or call centre previously, strong administration, worked with databases (CRMs) and competent with MSOffice. Must have clear concise telephone manner and be organised and methodical in their approach.
