Our client is one of the largest banking and financial services institutions globally, with a presence in over 80 countries worldwide. It is currently dedicated to a complete global overhaul of its regulatory framework, making this an exciting point in the company's history and an exciting time to join and help shape the firm's future. As part of their aim to create a company wide best in class compliance infrastructure, they are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Regional Head.

This is a key leadership role within an incredibly high profile area of the institutions, covering a wide range of substantial responsibilities for organising the oversight and management of all business areas across Regional Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Spearheading the development and implementation of multiple programmes to quantify and implement actions to address, manage and mitigate any regulatory risks;
* Ensuring a proactive approach is taken in the identification of Regulatory Compliance risks and potential impacts across the entirety of the business;
* Overseeing the management of the control room to ensure that it operates in adherence with regulatory requirements;
* Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to provide expertise and support on all regulatory matters;
* Maintaining and observing all control standards across the UK business and implement any recommendations made by auditors and external regulators.

Key Requirements:

* Strong understanding and experience within Regulatory Compliance;
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with executives at multiple levels of seniority;
* Experience of working and dealing with multiple regulatory matters;
* Sound ability to develop practical, cost effective solutions to complex global issues.
