Our client working with a leading Lloyd's of London business seeking to appoint a Data Manager to support their PCI DSS project. This position will also be providing a key role within the delivery of the 2nd phase of the new IT Infrastructure project. Initially this role will be for the analysis of existing data held, that may need redaction to obtain PCI DSS Compliance; however the position is likely to evolve into a more permanent Data Custodian. As this is a new role within the Group the person who takes this position will be instrumental in its development and final content.

Main responsibilities:

* Source data from multiple platforms and locations
* Mapping of data flows
* Analysis data in respect of PCI DSS and other regulatory constraints ie PII and retention policy plus document findings
* Design and propose means of removal of data outside of constraints, by working with Data Architect
* Reporting and updating requirements to the PCI project team
* Provide recommendations on data use and management to the PCI Project team
* Working with data/application owners to remediate issues found as part of the PCI programme
* Providing support to PCI DSS Programme and compliance activities
* Close working with Data Architect, with a view to taking responsibility for on-going data maintenance,
* Takes input from Project/Programme Manager and is able to appropriately apply comments/feedback.
* Adheres to project standards defined by project management.
* Accurately employs our methodology and documentation tools
* Constantly looking for process improvements for data management
* Self-development and continuing personal development

Key skills/Experience:

* Minimum 5 years Data Analysis experience
* Strong ETL reading and use of tools
* Strong SQL querying
* Ability to work with multiple complex databases
* Strong documentation skills
* PCI DSS knowledge
* Awareness of Data Steward duties
