Junior/Graduate Power Supply Design Engineer

Based in South West the Junior Power Supply Design Engineer will be joining a successful team at one of the largest electronic components manufacturers in the world.

Reporting to the engineering project manager the Junior Power Supply Design Engineer will be working as a part of a team to execute design and validation work for SMPS as required, Support of manufacturing department during introduction to manufacture and support of customer service department during initial phase of product introduction.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Design of elements of SMPS in accordance with the company design release procedure, meeting necessary De-rating and lifetime requirements under the supervision of senior engineers.
Generating reports as required, implementing change through the company documentation system,
Liaising with other departments and attending product development meetings as required, Responding to requests from manufacturing department and assisting with providing design support/solutions for products during introduction to manufacture. Providing support during investigation of customer application issues.

The following is essential:
*Degree educated in an Electronic Engineering subject or equivalent
*Interest in power supply, Analog design, Power electronics
*Good communication skills
