Experienced Operative

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Operative to join The Coffee Cart Company based in Hereford. To apply for this role it is essential that you hold a full clean Driving Licence with 7.5 Tonne and Trailer Licence (C1E).

As an Experienced Operative your duties will include:

• Providing logistics support to your management team
• Supervising the set- up of the High Town Coffee bar and outdoor furniture and/or the dismantling of both at the end of the day
• Ensure competent handling of sensitive equipment
• Keeping the Depot organised and clean
• Assist with the vehicle maintenance; washing of all vehicles including trailers. 
• Preparation of each trailer and support vehicle for forthcoming Events
• Assist in the picking of stock and loading onto the Town vehicle
• Stocking of High Town and Old Market vehicles and Event support vehicles prior to an Event and de- stocking after an Event.
• Transportation of stock and equipment to High Town & Old Market
• Weekly deep clean of Coffee Bar and outdoor furniture on a Sunday morning
• Pre-event set up of coffee bar unit and seating furniture, made ready for the start of the Event.
• Transportation of stock and equipment to and from the Event
• Post-event breakdown of Event set up. (Coffee bar unit and seating furniture)
• Attend scheduled meetings and display a willingness to contribute

An ideal Experienced Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:

• A full clean Driving Licence with 7.5 Tonne and Trailer Licence (C1E) – this is ESSENTIAL
• Relish working in an outdoor environment

Desirable            

• HGV – Class 1 Driving Licence
• Forklift Truck Licence

Variety of shifts available; business operates between 5am and 8pm, 7 days a week.  Working hours available are Full time / Part time / Weekend Cover.

In return you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £25,000 + (pro rata) dependent upon skills and experience.
