Multi-skilled Commercial Heating Pipefitter

Salary: £29000.00 to £34000.00 dependant on experience and qualifications
Main Location: Site based (National)

Provision of professional engineering services, mainly the electrical aspect of fitting of heating and ventilation systems ensuring a high standard of work. We operate with blue chip retail clients across the country installing and refurbishing commercial heating and ventilation systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Electrical testing and connections.
• Heating and Ventilation installation
• Pipe fitting
• Problem Solving
• Safety Testing
• Ensuring overall Client satisfaction
• Execution snag procedures
• Ensuring Health and Safety instructions are followed.

Personnel Desirable Attributes

• GasSafe qualified across gas commercial and industrial equipment. Applications and installations.
• GAS and (preferably) OIL LPHW plant. DHW vented an unvented warm air heaters. Radiant heaters AHUs direct gas fired units.

Other Arrangements

The usual working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, however where there is a business need these may vary from time to time. There is a requirement to work away and overnight stays are required along with early starts/late finishes most weeks,

OT Rates
First and last 30 mins of each day not paid (reasonable commute)
Travel time – Single rate
On site time – time and a half
Saturday Am – time and a half
Saturday Pm – Double time
