Job Title: Crane Driver / Operative

Location: Daventry, CV23 8BQ

Due to the growth of our Daventry operation we are looking for a number of Crane Drivers. The successful applicants will be required to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team with a supervisor to ensure the safe, efficient and punctual delivery of our business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of heavy lift equipment - overhead cranes (RTG's)
• Ensure containers are stacked in the most efficient manner
• Liaison with onsite customers, hauliers and other Russell departments
• General administrative duties including stock reports etc
• Cross cover other staff members during periods of holiday and sickness
• Ensure the security of the Terminal at all times
• Shift working - 24/7
• Other duties as directed by the Intermodal Rail Terminal Manager

You will demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail and a willingness to ensure that the customer's needs are met. The role in the main will involve the use of mechanical heavy lift equipment (RTG's - Intermodal containers).
