This is an exciting opportunity to deliver support to Look Ahead customers within the London Borough of Harrow . The service supports individuals aged 16+ with or without fixed accommodation, with a connection to the borough. Support focuses around promoting independence, maintaining tenancies; customers support needs are diverse and risk levels vary from low - medium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere.
  • Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities.
  • Supporting customers to set personalised goals in the form of a Support Plan.
  • Conducting regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals.
  • Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'.
  • Working innovatively and creatively in order to engage hard to reach, chaotic and complex customers.
  • Undertake work to ensure that highly vulnerable customers are adequately safeguarded.
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong links with external agencies to further support meeting the needs of the customers.
  • Engaging in learning and development activities to increase knowledge and skills both internally and externally relevant to the role.
  • Working in partnership with all appropriate external agencies to ensure multi agency approach and service delivery excellence.
  • Adhering to Look Ahead's policies and procedures.
