Credit Controller

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, enjoys a challenge, has an outgoing personality and enjoys working in a team.

The post will report to the Income Team Leader and will proactively manage the day to day collections activities to ensure the University’s debts are kept to a minimum and University policies and procedures relating to the collection of debt are observed. This includes ensuring early identification and resolution of queries that might otherwise hinder prompt settlement.

Play a leading role in the development and implementation of an effective credit control process including reports for both management information and monitoring purposes.

• excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy, tact and diplomacy whilst maintaining confidentiality and tenacity

• an adaptable and flexible approach to work.
• excellent IT skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• experience of working in a finance environment
• a genuine interest in higher education and its funding complexities
