Night shift hours 01:30 – 09:30

Salary : £21,000 - £24,000 according to experience

BDA specialises in providing bespoke supply chain solutions for our customers, by air and road from mainland Europe into the UK and Ireland, we connect daily from Germany, the Benelux. France and the UK with our own freight only aircrafts and daily road line-hauls and provide final mile, same day, in night distribution to our customers.

What we’re looking for
We’re expanding and require a Lead driver to join our busy UK delivery network to manage and develop a team of Through the Night drivers to cover the above region.

The role
Ideally you will be located in the area and have good local working knowledge of the local region.   You will need to be numerate and literate and be able to use a computer competently, with a good working knowledge of excel. 

The role covers our distribution and final mile deliveries, so you will need to be able to plan and check progress of routes with the Transport Control tower at our Hub in Coventry.  All of our Clients deliveries are time-critical and delivered Through the Night.  

Driving duties will be required as part of the role, and a level of shift flexibility will also be required.  Flights arrive at our Hub in Coventry, Monday to Friday evening and the deliveries from these connections are made Tuesday through to Saturday, there may be a local requirement to make some of our client deliveries on Monday.  The post holder must have a Full Driving licence and have a fork lift truck licence to facilitate loading requirements on site.

This role will require you to be able to motivate your team to deliver to our customers service level agreements’. Previous experience in a similar role would certainly be an asset, but we will train you where needed.
