An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong administrative professional who is looking for a new challenge to join an Engineering Consultancy in Hemel Hempstead as a Business Support Manager. About the role
As Business Support Manager you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers and provide the day to day administrative support to the engineering teams. To succeed you will need to be approachable, energetic and possess fantastic communication skills. Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage incoming post and deliveries
• Manage meeting rooms and office stationery and equipment
• Support in creating the delivering proposals
• Organise in house and external training
• Assist with resource planning

About you
So, what skills and qualities will you possess? Our client is looking for someone who is adaptable and willing to learn, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under your own supervision, as well as part of a team. You will also have:
• A proven ability to meet deadlines
• An understanding of working with confidential/sensitive data
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Efficiency and effectiveness in your execution of work
• Drive, determination and tenacity are key

Qualifications and Experience
• Educated to degree level, or equivalent educational or work experience
• Level 4 qualification in Administrative Management or similar is advantageous but not essential
• An understanding or exposure to proposal writing
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Our client is an engineering consultancy founded in 2004. They have five offices in the UK and specialise in Structural, Civil and Geo-environmental engineering. They provide engineering advice, design and support across a range of sectors and clients.
