IT Helpdesk Support Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst to join our technical team. The role initially is focused on providing desktop support and user administration; in addition you will be logging calls relating to server, networking and security infrastructure. Over time there is the opportunity to develop your knowledge to provide support across our entire portfolio.

As aSuccessful ITHelpdesk Support Analyst your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support (in a helpdesk role) to external users via telephone and remote support for IT hardware and software
- Log user issues in our helpdesk database using questioning techniques to establish the real issue and call priority
- Provide initial troubleshooting support to clients - looking to resolve support issues through 1st / 2nd line investigation and diagnosis techniques
- Escalate calls to 3rd line technical team where required
The successful ITHelpdesk support analyst will hold:
- Experience in customer service / service desk / helpdesk ideally gained in an IT reseller environment
- Solid core IT skills with knowledge and experience of PCs & laptops, basic networking and Active Directory & Exchange administration
- Keen attention to detail, eager to learn and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills and a team player in a technical support environment
- Strong analytical, communication and organisation ability
- Driving license and your own car, as occasional site visits are required
