A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join a firm of experienced Financial Advisers, delivering a specialised and professional service to individuals and businesses throughout the UK. Based in Wiltshire, the successful Paraplanner will earn a competitive salary of £22,000 to £31,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
With almost 40 years of experience, the company has a strong reputation for providing good quality whole of market advice to individuals and companies throughout the UK. A close knit vibrant team of mainly Advisers and Paraplanners, the company benefits from being part of one of the UK’s top 15 Financial Advice Firms whilst still enjoying a degree of autonomy and maintaining its existing individual identity.
The company’s Advisers are highly skilled at establishing the needs and resources of its clients in relation to their unique set of financial circumstances and aspirations. These findings are then presented to its team of Paraplanners who work closely together in order to provide support and share expertise. As a Paraplanner your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

As a Paraplanner your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Researching the best way to reach the client’s stated goals
- Working with the Adviser and taking into account all aspects of the client’s finances, their attitude to risk, their tax position etc to conduct research and produce bespoke reports
- Use of various software programs to help determine the best solution for clients
- Involvement with the advice process from start to finish with support from the Administration Team
- Working one to one with an Adviser on a given group of clients, you will also provide support to the Adviser by dealing with queries that arise from their clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Good mathematical skills
- Hardworking and driven by results
- Previous experience working in Financial Services is ideal but not essential
