Our client is looking to recruit part-time Class 1 HGV Hatchery Drivers to be based in Quainton. 

Main Duties will include:
  • This role is responsible for safely collecting eggs from the breeding farms and delivering them to the hatchery and safely delivering chicks to our broiler farms. It will require working effectively within the time schedules and company and legislative standards so that eggs and chicks can be transported safely. The role requires a degree of physical demand, such as lifting equipment in the region of 20kgs.
  • This is a part time role with a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours per week.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Applicants must have a Category C+E (Class 1) licence and experience of driving L.G.V. rigid and articulated vehicles. Drivers must also have a valid driver qualification card. Experience of articulated vehicles is essential. An understanding of farm work, as well as experience transporting livestock, would be an advantage.
  • To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work as part of a team and have a flexible, can do approach.
