We offer managed hosting solutions for any size or type of business, from a single server to complex managed hosting environments. 

The Virtualisation Engineer Role:

In order to meet the growing needs of our business, we’re looking for a bright Virtualisation Engineer to join our Team. You will be one of our technical experts delivering, managing and developing hosting services 24/7 from infrastructure through to operating systems and your main focus will be to assist with the technical delivery of all hosting customers.

Initially working 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Friday, you may be required to work five days between Monday and Sunday on a rota system which may include evening and night work. 

What it takes...

Virtualisation Engineer Skills / Experience:

> Commercial Vmware experience
> VCP5/6
> Strong Scripting Experience 
> Understanding of networking (Cisco)
> Understanding of the technologies and challenges in growing virtualization platforms 
> Strong technical background : Xen, VM Ware, Virtualization and EMC storage products

Key Responsibilities:

> Managing virtualisation systems for 100% uptime
> Working closely with the Core Services Manager to ensure that we maintain 100% uptime for our customers
> Liaising with internal/external customers to understand technical requirements and resolve issues as quickly as possible with minimum customer impact
> Helping attain relevant industry compliance certification 
> Keeping ahead of the market to help ensure managed hosting products are developed and enhanced to maintain market share / leadership
> Assisting with management of storage systems
