About Us:

We provide fine dining food of the highest quality and exceptional presentation to clients travelling aboard private jets. We have a kitchen in Church Crookham, and a nearby farm where we produce many of our own ingredients. 

The Catering Delivery Driver Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Delivery Drivers who will have the vital role of carefully delivering customer orders direct to their aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with the air stewards and clients, explaining the details of each dish and giving detailed instructions for preparation and service. 

Drivers must be smart and presentable, and have excellent communication skills to be able to liaise effectively with clients, air stewards, and our own chefs and kitchen staff.

Attention to detail is crucial to ensure that every element of each order is packed appropriately, loaded and delivered on time. 

Our clients value the taste, quality and presentation of our dishes time and time again. Consistency is key. They also value the ability to request dishes at all hours of the day and with short notice, our excellent response rates and high levels of customer service. 

The Catering Delivery Driver’s role is critical to being able to meet these expectations, in delivering excellent customer service, in understanding and responding appropriately to any client feedback (and communicating this back to the kitchen) and in building a rapport, especially with regular users, to understand their preferences and requirements so they really feel we offer a unique and personal service.

Catering Delivery Driver Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

> Clean UK driving licence
> Ability to physically lift deliveries and work within small spaces (private aircraft)
> Strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with clients and the team, especially when under pressure. 
> To be able to read written and numerical instruction and details to ensure orders are accurately recorded, made up and delivered
> Have a good mathematical understanding so as to seek out cost effective supplies
> An interest in food would be advantageous!
> Act with honesty and integrity
> Be flexible with regards to duties and hours of work
> Have a positive attitude with a proactive approach
> Ability to use initiative to seek process improvements and resolve problems
> Hardworking, reliable and able to deal with peaks and troughs of activity
> Attention to detail is critical; no shortcuts
> Enthusiasm and drive to succeed in a fast paced high standard establishment 
> Flexibility and commitment; willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy the client
> Must respect and commit to abiding by Health, Safety, Hygiene and Security procedures

Location: 

> Based at Church Crookham, Hampshire

Other information: 

> Successful candidates will be responsible for commuting to and from the kitchen in Church Crookham and so must either have their own transport or make effective use of public transport so as to arrive at work on time and remain at work until the proper end of their shift
> This is a secure environment; successful applicants will need to undergo identity checks, criminal record checks, and provide a full history of their previous 5 years from which we will obtain references (whether from employers, Government agencies or schools and colleges)
> Our standards are high and we expect candidates to commit to achieving them, day in day out
> Any Tattoos should be covered at all times
> There is a strict non-smoking policy in the premises, on airport and within the van
> As a supplier to the air industry, security and punctuality are critical to the success of our product and our client satisfaction.
Hours: 40 hours per week, across a rotating shift pattern to include some weekends and bank holidays. Early and late shifts between 6am and 7pm. We are closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
> There are opportunities for additional overtime shifts. Some flexibility will be required around hours to meet the needs of the business.

Salary: £18,000, rising to £19,000 after successfully completing a 3 month probation period and further pay review after 6 months.
Equivalent to 28 days holiday

Start Date: As soon as possible; immediate start would be advantageous
