Job Title: Technical Murex Consultant

Location: London

Excelian are looking to recruit a talented Murex consultant, with relevant technology experience, to join our Murex practice in Europe. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of our Murex engagements (Integration, Upgrade and Support) in London.

Job Description

We are looking for Murex specific experience within;

·         Murex version 3.1

·         MxML (Interfaces, Workflows)

·         Datamart Reporting

·         Back Office experience

·         Technical Support of Murex systems, including EOD

·         Experiences working across a variety of asset classes including Equities, FX and Interest Rate Derivatives

You need to have a minimum of 2 years proven Murex experience to be considered.

We currently have a strong demand across several London based projects. Successful candidates will be able to take on the following responsibilities:

·         Requirements gathering - analyse and understand the functional requirements of client

·         Documentation of functional requirements

·         Validation workshops for IT and business users

·         Advising on market best practice

·         Assist in pricing and risk validations

·         Assist in providing benchmark tolerances

·         Designing and executing Unit testing, SIT and UAT

·         Training traders and Murex support teams

Murex Consulting :

·         Requirements gathering

·         Technical specification development and analysis

·         Interface Development

·         Datamart extraction

·         Full Murex regression testing

·         Training users and Murex support teams

Technical Skills:

• Java, XML, HTML
• Murex MXML
• SQL

Implementations and upgrades:

• FEM migrations
• MX 2.11 and 3.1 Integration
