N Palmer Deliveries Ltd are looking for an apprentice to work in their Longridge Depot alongside a strong and talented team within a busy office.

This Company is one of the leading logistic companies in the North West. We cater for all types of business and provide a 24/7 courier service.

The successful candidate will provide full admin support to the Transport and Sameday Office.

Daily duties and responsibilities include:

  • Handle and give mail out to the correct department
  • Maintain office filling and storage systems
  • Monitor and maintain the office stationary
  • Chase drivers for paperwork
  • Update daily discrepancies spread sheets for particular clients
  • Answer calls and pass through to the relevant department
  • General Administration duties for the transport and sameday office
  • Fax, scan and copy documents
  • Keep office area tidy
  • Retrieve information when requested

Skills Required

  • Basic Excel & word knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Versatile and adaptable
  • Willing to take on new roles and challenges
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle tasks and prioritise

Candidates must have at 4 GCSE’s including Maths and English grades A-C.

The Apprenticeship training for this vacancy will be provided by Runshaw College. As this is a funded Apprenticeship programme it is not open to candidates who have already achieved a qualification at Level 4 or above.
