Assistant Colour Experience Manager required to provide maternity cover for a leading educational charity based in Bradford.
The Organisation
Our client is the world's leading independent, educational charity dedicated to advancing the science and technology of colour. Established in 1884, they have been serving members and the industry for over 130 years. They have a global reach and have regions in many countries and around the UK. The charity operates from a Bradford city centre building where this post will be based (although the role does require some travel both within the UK and internationally).
About the role
The Assistant Colour Experience Manager will work alongside the Colour Experience Manager of the Society to co-ordinate and manage the Colour Experience educational programme of activities. The Colour Experience is an educational programme of the charity, offering colour education workshops and activities to schools, colleges and special interest groups.
The principle duties of this role are:
• To co-ordinate and manage the Colour Experience educational programme of activities.
• To provide a link between the Society and the education sector to proactively promote its educational services and products.
• To offer and develop services and products that will benefit and support the education sector.
About you
To be a successful candidate you will possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Confident telephone manner and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• Computer skills – Word, Excel and Microsoft Office
• Problem solving
• Understanding of digital communications
• Enthusiastic self-starter
• Team player
• Meticulously well organised
• Flexible about hours and working away as the role will involve UK and international travel.
Other desirable skills/experience include:
• Experience of education sector
• Experience of museums and heritage sector
• Experience of marketing
• User of social networking and other online applications
• Report writing skills
• Finance skills
