Following significant business growth, this popular domiciliary care agency are urgently seeking to appoint two Care Team Leaders. The ideal candidates will have experience in Domiciliary Care, be able to drive and ideally have use of a car.

The ideal applicant will be of a caring nature, highly motivated, passionate and committed to providing quality care within people's own homes. You will visit clients in their homes and assist with care plans, monitoring care, assisting with quality assurance matters and also carry out hands-on care work as required.

The Care Team Leader role will involve:

- Completion of client assessments and reviews
- Provide leadership to the care functions of the agency
- Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Care Manager
- Supervise the care services within the Agency in accordance with agreed standards
- Provide support to clients as directed
- Assigning care workers to clients
- Liaising with and providing support to the Registered Manager
- Updating records of service users on an on-going basis
- Preparation of reports as required
- To assist with the out of hours on-call service on a rota basis

Key competencies of the Team Leader include:

- At least level 2 NVQ in Health and Social care or a similar qualification
- To be able to maintain office policies, procedures and systems
- To be able to maintain administration.
- To be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- To be able to prepare reports as required

The Team Leader must:

- Hold a full driving license
- Live locally to London N21 in order to attend to on-call services
- Have acquired a minimum of 2 years care experience and knowledge of care planning
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good communication and written skills
- Good computer skills
- Sound understanding of good care principles
- Skills in care planning
