  • The expertise and vision to develop high standards and expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.

  • The highest of expectations of teaching and learning having a record of excellent classroom practice.
  • A passion for English and excellent subject knowledge.
  • Successful teaching experience and expertise of teaching in Upper Key Stage 2.

  • Experience and expertise of working with children from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
  • The commitment to working in partnership with the school, Governors, parents and the community.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
