Student Recruitment Officer

York St John University is seeking a Student Recruitment Officer to work in its busy and lively student recruitment team. We’re looking for a confident problem solver who is motivated and highly organised. An innovative team leader with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have experience of working with young people or in a marketing or student recruitment function.

You will need to enjoy working with a range of audiences and in particular with young people and have a good understanding of higher education. You’ll also have experience of working independently and of delivering high quality events and interactive presentations.

Core activities in this role include managing a team of recruitment professionals, organising Open and Visit days, attending recruitment fairs as well as delivering a suite of schools liaison activities on and off campus. Excellent presentation skills, attention to detail and a real passion for the benefits of higher education are essential.
