DSP Software / Firmware Engineer - Audio
This fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of the worlds leading low power DSP audio processor / SoC development companies who's products are found in a number of consumer devices.
They are developing the latest audio processing technology and require a proven DSP software / firmware engineer to join the team developing & implementing audio algorithms and filters such as FIR's and IIR's (Finite Impulse Response, Infinite Impulse Response ) for their small footprint processors.
Candidates will have a strong academic background and ideally but not essential a MSc or PhD in a related subject. Software and firmware skills such as:
DSP Software / Firmware
C/C++ and Assembler (ASM) for RISC processors
Matlab/Simulink
In terms of algorithms skills we are looking for candidates with FIR, IIR, Adaptive Filter design ( preferably fixed point), Noise Cancellation and other audio related algorithms and standards.
The successful candidate will join a talented team and take ownership of algorithms design and implementation that will be in many thousands of devices!
