Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger - Cambridge - 21K
Finance Assistant with experience of purchase ledger, AP accounts and payments accounts experience is required by a leading company in Cambridge. You should have good Microsoft Excel experience and have worked in a finance position previously. Any experience with Sage 200, nominal ledger, cost centres and preparing accruals would be a bonus but not essential.
My client looking for someone who is experienced at Purchase Ledger, someone who understands supplier statements, can reconcile accounts, understands VAT and understands how the Purchase Ledger fits into the month end process, ie. the importance of meeting deadlines. They want someone who is meticulous about accuracy and detail and will be proud to have a tidy, accurate ledger
This is fantastic opportunity for a finance assistant to work in a varied and exciting position. You manage the process of all the purchase ledger accounts and provide support to the management accountant / financial controller on other areas. You shall be involved in purchase payment management, process monthly invoices and have certain KPI's that need to be kept to. This including prioritising payments, managing relationships, process a large number of invoices and also be involved in the month end accounts of the AP ledger.
