Skilled Glaziers (Curtain-Wall Installers Unitized/Stick) - Canada

Flynn Canada Ltd. is currently recruiting commercial and industrial Glaziers to fill vacancies in our Vancouver branch.

Responsibilities include: 

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to allow layout and installation of Curtain-Wall (Unitized/Stick)
• Assemble and install prefabricated unitized Curtain-Wall and stick systems, as well as glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of building
• Install, fit, fabricate and attach all architectural finishing scopes, including but not limited to: external & internal flashings, internal trim work and finish caulking on institutional and commercial buildings
• Install Structural glazing, glass guardrail systems and storefronts
• Install skylight systems
• Providing training to more junior level, less experienced workers 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 4 years' glazing (commercial) experience OR completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR Journeyman/woman certificate OR Journeyman/woman certificate equivalent
• Intermediate English skills
• Door and Hardware experience is an asset
• Must successfully pass physical fitness test 

Immigration Requirements: 

• Must have clean police record
• Must have valid driver’s license
• May be required to complete a medical exam
