Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor

Our client, a leading marketing company is expanding, and looking to recruit a Motion Graphics Designer & Video editor to join their team in based in modern offices in Blackpool.

The Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor is responsible for producing high-quality moving image and motion graphics films complete with a suitable soundtracks. The successful applicant will work closely with the production, design and marketing teams to produce a compelling and effective visual output. You must be creative and have a passion for motion graphics innovation; the successful designer will have a modern, fresh approach to quality motion design and be motivated to push boundaries towards what is possible in motion/3D design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, developing and executing motion graphics for a variety of internal and external clients

• Adapting and editing Illustrator and Photoshop files to repurpose designs

• Editing of short motion graphic films to showcase the company’s products and services

• Working closely with the marketing and design teams to produce pdf proposals for a range of clients

• Image manipulation (using Photoshop) to demonstrate our products in situ within sporting venues

• Developing new techniques and pushing the boundaries of motion graphic design

Key skills

• Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is essential especially Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects

• The ability to work on multiple projects at any one time

• Experience working to strict deadlines

• Knowledge of video editing techniques

• Knowledge of compression and video encoding

• A Good understanding of graphic design, composition and typography

• Any 3D graphical experience is advantageous
