Key Tasks

Business Development

Provide a Wealth Management service to an existing Pension & Investment client base.
To increase the value of the client base through repeat and referral business and the development of professional connections.
Agree a business development plan with designated Supervisor to ensure the firms qualitative and quantitative business measures are achieved.
Ensure that the firms high standards of client care are met by demonstrating competence in all stages of the advisory process, operating at all times within the Rules of the FCA as documented in the firm compliance and training and competence procedures.
Keep up to date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the market place.
Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA Principles, Rules and Code of Practice for Approved Persons.
Seek at all times to apply the firms core values of professionalism, flexibility, teamwork and care.

Personal Development

Ensure competence is attained and maintained as outlined in the firms Training & Competency Scheme.
Identify own training needs and undertake additional developmental activities as required by the firm

Requirements

Hold Level IV Diploma in Financial Advice and a valid SPS.
Have a detailed knowledge of a wide range of Retail Investment Products and FCA record keeping requirements.
Be able to work under own initiative without the need for direct supervision.
At least 5 years experience as a competent independent adviser with satisfactory KPIs.
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and work in a structured and planned manner.
