To work with senior stakeholders and relevant colleagues to ensure the accurate delivery of changes and the continuous improvement of delivery processes across Finance and Actuarial Change.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic planning
To work with senior stakeholders in finance, investments and actuarial divisions to assess business strategy, competitor and market developments, in order to shape the scope of proposed projects and key changes.
Stakeholder planning, support and oversight
To work with senior stakeholders to quantify the benefits of proposed changes and to assist in the production of associated business cases
Change requirements analysis
To ensure that change requirements are subjected to methodical investigation, analysis, documentation and review
Testing and acceptance oversight
To brief the Test Manager, and work with the Test Team, to ensure business changes are fully understood, in order to enable appropriate testing
Experience
Proven track record within Business Analysis
A background within Finance and Actuarial would be a distinct advantage
Knowledge and operational experience of Policy Administration, Investment Management, Fund Accounting, Custody, and Investment Accounting
Experience of using Agile methods to define business analysis deliverables
Demonstrable experience of planning and successfully delivering cross-business change projects involving IT change within a formal governance and control framework, ideally within financial services
Demonstrable understanding of IT development processes and delivery life cycles, and experience of testing
