Part Time Support Worker - Domestic Abuse

This national umbrella organisation is looking to recruit a Part Time Domestic Abuse Support Worker to be based at their Colwyn Bay Refuge, to work 30 hours per week.

The successful candidate will provide support and information to women who have experienced domestic abuse and other forms of violence against women and girls. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with female survivors. You should have significant past experience of working with this or a similar client group. This role may involve some lone working. Must be self-motivated, IT literate and able to work on own initiative. Applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.
