Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £16,032 - £18,031 per annum
You will work in a team responsible for providing grounds maintenance to the University Campuses. You will carry out duties to maintain the tidiness of the grounds, gardens, hard and soft landscaped areas and playing fields. You will also be required to clear snow and ice which may involve gritting duties and the use of a snow plough as necessary.
To be successful in this role you will have a working knowledge of landscaping and basic horticultural techniques and will be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be enthusiastic and able to work with minimal supervision. You will be passionate about promoting a positive image of Campus Services and will be accommodating to customer requirements and prompt in responding to their requests for services.
