Internal Sales Administrator - AC/DC power supplies - Reading

My client is a manufacturer and distributor of standard and customizable AC/DC power supplies, who have recently been through an acquisition and refined their corporate structure. They're now looking for an Internal Sales Administrator in Reading who can assume control of approximately 100 UK based accounts, tasked with managing the customer orders and enquiries for new projects. Also where possible, maximising their potential through upsell and cross sell opportunities.

With a diverse product offering for industrial, medical, lighting and other sectors, it will require someone who is able to keep on top of such a broad portfolio. With a powerful brand now underpinning their products, and a strong corporate message to deliver to customers, they envisage a solid period of growth over the next 6-12 months

The successful candidate will need the following:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and attention to detail
- The ability to manage customers new and existing product requirements.
- Sales and customer support skills - training can be given.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing effective business relationships with the number of customer accounts
- Qualifying quotes to determine effective pricing and delivery to ensure the booking of the business
- Supporting sales team for a range of projects
- Working together with External Sales Executives to maximise customer opportunities

We're not looking for a power supplies expert necessarily, but prior experience in SMPS, AC/DC or DC/DC converters, LED drivers, UPS or other power related products would be advantageous. This is an internal position with the opportunity in future to visit some key customer accounts.
