Our client are a national professional education provider of over 30 years’ experience. They currently specialise in providing in-house, corporate and public training programmes for a range of disciplines including HR, Finance, Management, Public Relations, Property and Construction. MOL are focussed on providing professional insight and skills enabling our trainees to learn, develop and excel.

With this in mind, they currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Sales Consultant to join their team. The purpose of this role is to sell a wide range of professional learning qualifications and membership solutions to new and existing individuals and organisations in various industries. This is primarily a Business to Consumer (B2C) role with a higher focus on Business to Business (B2B) relationships.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Developing and maintaining great relationships with existing customers via appropriate and effective methods
  • Attending corporate events, conferences and institute ceremonies
  • Recognising and maximising up opportunities to increase sales
  • Liaising with key stakeholders regarding the progress of sales and implementation of service
  • Responding to incoming emails, phone enquires, web call back and brochure requests and live web-chat; providing timely follow-up on leads and enquiries.
     

Qualifications, skills & experience:

  • Outbound calling and customer service experience
  • Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in a sales environment
  • Computer literate and experience in database navigation and Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to write detailed follow up notes for business reporting
  • Mature attitude with a capability to discuss business issues
