Full or part time hours per week or casual work

(To be worked over 7 days inc. working evenings, weekends, nights, sleep-in shifts and bank holidays. Sleep-ins are in addition to contracted hours)

£14,300 per annum (pro rata if part time) plus a £1.25 per hour enhancement payment for designated night shifts and weekend working and a nightly rate for sleep ins of £30.00 per night

Location: South Tyneside

We are looking for Support Workers across our services in South Tyneside who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for our clients.

You will be providing care and support to these clients, promoting independence and helping them get the most out of life. This will involve providing personal care and support; helping with household tasks; helping with shopping and budgeting, and supporting clients to access and be involved in leisure activities.

A driving licence is essential for our vacancies at South Tyneside as you will be driving clients’ manual vehicles for our permanent roles but is not a requirement for casual work.
