Established in 1947, we are a family business who have steadily grown to become one of the most exciting Groundcare Dealerships in the South of England. 

Dealing with a wide range of Councils, Schools, Sportsgrounds and Private Estates, our business is built around supplying our customers with high quality groundcare machinery and then providing expert maintenance & support via our workshops.

The Service Manager Role:

Steady expansion now means that we are looking for a professional service manager to work from our branch near Guildford. You would be in charge of managing customer calls and expectations, organising and prioritising work, managing and motivating our small team of engineers, meeting monthly financial targets, handling and resolving customer queries, overseeing the warranty account and ensuring the workshop communicates effectively with both the parts and sales team.

It’s a complete job where you have ownership from the initial call from the customer, through to ensuring the final invoice is paid. That’s not to say you are alone, you have the full support and resources from the company and you would be working alongside our Groundcare Service Director, but you also have the opportunity to identify issues and make changes. You therefore need a sensible head for business and to be someone who understands what constitutes great customer service. This then needs to be delivered in a friendly but professional way to ensure our customers keep coming back year after year.

Service Manager Required Skills:

Outstanding administration and communication skills are vital but a sound working knowledge of machinery gives credence when discussing issues with engineers, customers and suppliers. The ability to juggle between jobs, prioritise work and remain calm during our busy times is also important, but if you are looking for your next challenge then we would be very interested in talking to you.

Groundcare or Agricultural experience
Motor Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Background – technician/service coordinator
