General Foreman

General Foreman - Nottinghamshire 
 
 
Location: Nottinghamshire 

Salary: £20 - £22 p/h

Duration: Contract - 5 months

Our client is looking for a flexible and hard-working General Foreman to oversee and manage yard movements in terms of stock and supply of raw materials to sub contractors. The position entails working on the construction site and in the yard for the refurbishment of the buildings. 
 
 
The ideal candidate would have the following desirable experience, qualifications & training: 
 
 
· First Aid Certified 
· Driving licence 
· Computer literate 
· SMSTS or SSSTS  

The role entails the following principle accountabilities: 
 
 
- To manage the general yard personnel 
- To manage raw material and used stock control( doors, windows furniture etc.) 
- Ensure raw materials are kept to min/max quantities in a cost efficient manner 
- To ensure materials are loaded correctly for transport to site 
- Maintain H&S standards in the yard 
- To ensure refurbishment of product is to delivery time and within cost 
 

NOTE : Flexible hours and some weekend work may be required.
