This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected experts in tax status.

They are looking for a Sales Operations Assistant to work within the Sales Operations department, liaising with accountants, and intermediaries to administer and fulfil all insurance schemes in an accurate and timely manner. To work with both external and internal clients to answer and resolve queries, update internal systems and maintain stocks of marketing material.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm at our Leicester head office, however there will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later to meet the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities & skills required:

Responsible as a team member and in support of the Sales Operations Manager to:

- Be fluent with running mail merge campaigns - please only apply if you cannot mail merge as you will be required to sit a practical test
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications - Outlook, Excel & Word
- Understand and interpret terminology to answer accountants and intermediaries queries and advise on the current status of their insurance schemes
- Setup, administer and keep up to date details of all accountants, brokers and intermediaries locations, contacts and schemes on the internal management system
- Generate and issue reports as required from the internal management system
- Ensure all scheme documentation and filing structures are up to date on the electronic system
- Support the field sales staff via the production and issuing of new and renewing scheme documentation
- Support the Marketing Department via the coordination of marketing stock control

Skills & Experience:

- Be highly flexible and adaptable with a keen eye for detail
- Have confident manner of the phone
- Work well under pressure and continuous deadlines, whilst multi-tasking
- Dealing with esquires from internal team and external clients
- Maintain own technical knowledge & skills
- Confident and enthusiastic
- Good interpersonal skills
- Tax Fee Protection / Finance / Insurance industry background would be a bonus
