Salary: £24500 + OTE
Based in Leeds

Our client is the country’s leading distributor of floor covering in the UK. Their customers are independent retailers and contractors located throughout the country on established sales areas.

They currently have the following vacancy: Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers

WORK LOCATION:

Thornes Farm Industrial Estate, Leeds
Delivering to NW England, NE England, East Coat, Midlands

ON OFFER:

• Monday to Friday 06:00 to finish
• SALARY £24,500
• NO WEEKEND OR BANK HOLIDAY WORK
• Up to 6 weeks holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays
• Christmas Shutdown
• Sick pay scheme (after qualifying period)
• Pension scheme (up to 11% of earning contributed by the company, after qualifying period)
• Work wear provided
• Regular routes

APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:

• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Full driving licence with Class 2 entitlement
• Digital tachograph card
• A good working knowledge of the Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
• Good previous driving record and Class 2 multi drop experience.
• A positive attitude to customer service.
• A disciplined approach that will allow them to work unsupervised.

JOB INCLUDES:

• Loading and unloading a variety of flooring products
  - Some manual handling - drivers aids also provided
• Collecting cardboard tubes for recycling - significant bonus earning opportunity
• Driving responsibly - adhering to all traffic laws
• Daily vehicle inspections
• Weekly vehicle wash

Knowledge of floor covering is not essential but would be an advantage.
