Account Manager - AAT Training Available

Are you a personable and competent account manager / administrator looking for an opportunity to learn in a dynamic and successful company? This accountancy firm is looking for an account manager to join their ambitious and rapidly growing online practice, with an option to study towards AAT qualifications if desired.

You will be part of their enthusiastic and high calibre team that supports their growing client base, who are seeking a modern, high quality and efficient accountancy service. As an account manager you will be responsible for a range of duties including:

- providing support and guidance to clients over the phone and email
- advising clients looking to appoint the firm
- setting up PAYE and VAT schemes
- checking and filing of clients VAT returns
- supporting clients with their bookkeeping
- providing technical support to clients with their online accounting software
- assisting accountants day to day
- liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients

The ideal candidate for this position will be:

- strong, reliable team player

To apply for this excellent opportunity you must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A*-C, including Maths and English). Knowledge of personal and business taxation or experience gained within an accountancy practice will be beneficial, but not essential.

You will be based in a unique and well-equipped office close to Derby city centre. The team is very friendly and welcoming, and run a number of regular social events including summer BBQs, board game nights, bake offs, 10k runs and even muddy wild warrior events.
