Job Title:
Assistant Manager
Reports to:
BRANCH MANAGER
Job Purpose:
To support the branch manager to drive sales, reach targets and maximise profit by delivering the key tasks and responsibilities.
Key Tasks &Responsibilities:
Sales and Cost Management
Achieve both sales and KPI targets.
Maximise on all sales development opportunities within the store by the analysis of store data, team communication and involvement.
Control wage costs and other controllable expenditure.
Implement company and local marketing initiatives to ensure public awareness of Jones is maintained at a high level and sales increased.
Customer Service
Consistently drive sales through customer service throughout the store.
Resolve service issues timely and commercially.
To create a positive service culture at all times.
Develop the team to maximize customer conversion and satisfaction
Team Management & Leadership
Ensure high levels of team motivation using methods as needed.
Utilize the company training documents to ensure all team members are given the appropriate training and support for them to do the job effectively.
Address under-performance issues professionally using the correct company policies and procedures.
Recruit and retain the best people by using the company recruitment guidelines.
Store Operations
Adhere to company administration and security policies & procedures.
Adhere to company Health & safety procedures and current legislation without exception.
Control stock loss within your agreed targets using all available resources.
Communication and Support
Ensure timely, accurate completion of all requested documentation and administration.
To carry out or assist with other duties as requested by your Store or Area Manager or company.
To be responsible for your own self development and learning and have a desire for continuous improvement.
