They now have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Leader in Welding Studies to join them where you will not only deliver high quality teaching and learning to students of all age and abilities, but will also be responsible for supporting the Head of School in providing an excellent learning experience.

As a Curriculum Leader you will support with the high quality management, leadership and guidance. Taking responsibility through team working for the effective recruitment, retention, achievement and positive progression of individual students, you will make sure that meaningful course reviews are undertaken. Coordinating staffing and being responsible for the efficient timetabling of courses, you will plan, prepare and update all relevant teaching documentation which includes schemes of work and lesson plans.

As the successful candidate, you will need to be innovative with your teaching methods. With a commitment to all stages of the student journey, you will be flexible, enthusiastic and have the ability to engage and inspire students.

They are looking for someone who has a qualification in Welding to Level 3 coupled with an understanding of curriculum delivery. With experience of leading a team you will ideally have worked within Further/Higher Education, but this is not essential. What is key is that you have highly developed written, oral and presentation skills along with a level of flexibility.
