Marketing Executive

A locally headquartered business with an international reputation and customer base are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join them on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This role sits within a well defined and busy Marketing department, working closely with the Sales Director and Marketing Manager.

The primary function of the role is to develop campaign themes and supporting content for all relevant territories and act as brand guardian, writing, editing and briefing third parties to create content for a given audience.

Marketing Executive Duties:

• Execution of different marketing activities across the European regions.
• Contributing to local and global strategy, identifying strategic growth opportunities and potential business threats.
• Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills are essential. Be comfortable and confident to liaise with internal and external customers, at all levels.
• Write on-brand copy for given audiences for Press Releases, Ebooks, White Papers, Web content.
• Persuade and negotiate with existing customers to create testimonials, case studies and referrals.
• Customer focussed, and able to work under pressure, re-prioritising work as required.
• Enthusiastic, flexible with a 'can do' attitude and an eye for detail.
• Computer literate with the ability to leverage business software. (CRM, MS Office essential).
• Technical competence, able to think "solutions" and communicate complex issues in an easy to understand language.
• Experience in creative B2B writing, with an appreciation for Web and Social Media marketing would be beneficial to the role.
