Senior Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, based in Huddersfield (HD2) offering a salary of up to £35,000 plus company benefits.
As an electrically biased senior engineer you would be expected to be able to undertake advanced level machinery diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and machinery reconditioning as well as provide leadership, assistance and guidance to less experienced engineers.
The role of Senior Maintenance Engineer:
- Organising the daily work load for the engineers
- Assisting in fault finding as required
- Monitor the engineering stores, ordering of replacement parts
- Promote best engineering and Health and Safety practices
- Improve existing PPM schedule, work towards a TPM environment
The ideal Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias):
- City & Guilds 17th Edition.
- Time served apprenticeship in a technical field.
- 5 years experience within an industrial environment
- Minimum HNC qualification in an engineering discipline
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Solid experience in problem analysis and
- Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
- Proven leadership skills
- Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily embraces change.
- PC literate, preferable with experience with Microsoft Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
