Our client is an 11–16 comprehensive school of 1000 students. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we are in an exciting phase of development to become ‘Outstanding’. They are known for their innovative approach and they value CPD very highly.
They are looking to appoint a Second in Charge of their Humanities Department with responsibility for Geography across the department. Geography is a very popular subject at their school with numbers growing steadily and with excellent GCSE results. The Humanities team are vibrant and committed professionals and they are looking for a like-minded person to join them, following the retirement of the present incumbent.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an outstanding teacher;
• Have a passion for Humanities and a specialism in Geography;
• Have outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Be committed to making Geography an exciting and fun subject for the students.
