Internet Sales Manager

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about selling online. They are looking for an individual who can continue to develop their successful dedicated Ebay shop and expand their sales onto other sales platforms such as Amazon market place. They’ve got big ambitions and big targets and they’re looking for a dynamic, experienced Internet Sales Manager to help them grow their internet sales from donated goods.

Working from their Branch office in Halifax you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their online sales operation, via on-line retail channels, including eBay, and Amazon. You’ll work alongside their Shop Managers to identify sales opportunities and meet budgeted sales targets.

With responsibility for the efficiency and profitability on internet sales, you’ll write detailed and compelling listings and work to further develop and promote their online retail operation. You will work with the Charity Shops Area Manager to recruit and train a team of volunteers, ensuring levels are maintained to cover staffing of the area, including holiday cover.

You’ll have an eye for detail and a feel for what sells online. Experience in Charity Retail would be beneficial although not essential.

You will have passion and leadership and be able to work in a hands on environment. The work is hard, but never dull and provides the opportunity for personal fulfilment and achievement, the Internet Sales Manager post will have overall responsibility for the management, administration, profitability and effectiveness of the Internet sales. They offer great job satisfaction knowing that your efforts help to raise funds for the delivery of animal welfare services at their branch animal centre. 

Internet Sales Manager - Principal Accountabilities are:

•    Develop sales through online market places Ebay and Amazon.
•    Identify items to sell online.
•    Produce compelling item listings.
•    Photograph and stage items in the most appropriate way.
•    Process and dispatch orders.
•    Responsible for achieving sales targets
•    Promotion of Branch & Society initiatives and campaigns to promote the awareness of the charity.

You will be able to demonstrate:

•    Good standard of numeracy and literacy
•    Experienced in selling on Ebay
•    Ability to work under own initiative.
•    Hard work and dedication in a challenging environment
•    Good communication skills

Salary: c£17,293 per Annum plus benefits.
Job Type: Full - Time 
Working Hours: 37.5 Hours
Contract: 12 Month Contact
