The Job
- This East Riding primary school is looking to raise standards of Literacy and Numeracy in the Year 6 class through good continuous provision and assessments
- The school requires a Year 6 Teacher who has a holistic approach and who is confident in delivering the curriculum in such a way that engages and stimulates the children
- The role of the Year 6 Teacher requires good communication, patience, empathy, creativity and an enthusiastic approach. You will be joining a very strong Key Stage 2 team who are committed to giving every child the best start to life

The School and The Child
- This is a two form entry primary school
- The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals is above average
- The proportion of pupils who are from minority ethnic groups is lower than average
- There are a high number of new arrivals throughout the school in each academic year
- We understand that every school and child is different so we carefully match our teachers with the schools and children to which they work with best
